Description

KANGURU Evening of Dream Ragas (Ranger Recordings label lp. Made in Australia c. late 1970s). Gentle, quiet and magical acid lp with Indian instruments. Actually no sitar, but sarod, tabla, pakhawaj,  tanpura. Also electric viola, flute, 12 string guitar and didgiridu. Male and female vocals. 4 long tracks. Naturally I have to mention a similarity to Extradition & Tully !

Haven't seen one of these for years. This is the original private pressing, not the later issue on Larrikin, a "big" Aussie folk label.

Condition: Disc Near Mint. Cover Vg. Unlaminated matt finish cover is very susceptible to wear.  Rubbing wear front and back. Small stain on front - coffee? Opening edge has 1/2" tear. Spine has beginning 1" split, not broken through.
