'ITS THE VINYL COUNTDOWN'

Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

THE VINYLS   MINT-   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the 1st ORIGINAL UK press- Stored from new this LP has seen possibly a handful of VERY CAREFUL plays only, and remains in pristine condition everywhere. THE VINYLS REALLY ARE SUPERB.

This pressing is a superb vinyl SET which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is little dulling anywhere (none at all really!) and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

a couple of light spider lines around the centre holes, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

SURPLUS WAX AROUND THE CENTRE HOLES!!

BOTH VINYLS REALLY ARE STUNNING , CLEAN..AND PLAY AMAZING.

There is barely a hint of any whisp lines, a couple of the lightest of hairlines - One light line running across side three, but this does not sound! and thats it-  nothing else!  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

On playing through we heard nothing bar the tiniest of lead in static in the dead grooves....AND thats about it..no bad noise, jumps clicks or distortion.. overall this is easily as clean a copy as we have heard.

A very rare record to see at all these days..

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE LABELS   MINT-  FLAT MATT LABELS

THE SLEEVE     EX STRONG

Correct textured gloss  GATEFOLD UK issued sleeve  - with GLOSS PAPER PHOTO INNERS

PRINTER CREDITS -  SHOREWOOD PACKAGING

SO HARD TO FIND THESE WITH NO SCUFFING ON THE MATT BLACK INKS..THIS ONE COMES OH SO CLOSE!

A correct UK sleeve..not an import like so many we have seen over the years..these really look like the USA type card, but we assure you it is UK oprinted by Shorewood!

This is in super condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean. A RARE ONE TO FIND.

The edges are all super clean with just a couple of tiny little traces of rub on the edges , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition!

There is some very feint ring wear and press on both panels  - alas unavoidable with this type of textured gloss sleeve

Some light tip rub. And some very very light storage dulling on both panels

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -

The spine is superb, no squash or white rubbing -

there is barely a hint of a spider line anywhere!

the open out of the gatefold is absolutely like new ..totally pristine

THE INNER SLEEVES   EX+

card photo inners, thumb groove and tapered edges, as per the original pressing-

These are immaculate with no scissoring -just some light white seam rub at the bottom of each one. Both vinyls housed in further poly liners.
