rare German first press vinyl 8LP box set released in the 1960s on "TULIP" stereo DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) label with catalognumber 643501/508. Clothbound box complete with insert and laminated picture covers for each LP feat. photos of Karajan in action... The box, sleeves and vinyl all AS NEW in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect! Vinyl looks unplayed - best copy I have seen in many years... the vinyl has the year 1962 stamped in the trail-off vinyl. Fantastic 1962 reference performances by Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality ...see photo.
