rare German first press and limited, numbered edition (# VIII 184) vinyl 8LP box set released 1962 on "TULIP" DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) mono label with ALLE HERSTELLER and catalognumber KL-1/8 .... Yes, vinyl has the 1962 date stamped into the trail-off vinyl, and the booklet has the earliest possible date 11/62 ... The clothbound box complete with booklet and insert, and vinyl in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect! Famous 1962 reference performances by Herbert von Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality. Don't miss this rare early mono copy in fantastic condition, so much rarer than the stereo version - very difficult to find now even here in Germany... see photo
