Description
This is another special auction for hard core Carpenter's Fans! In March of 1970, the Carpenter's were guests on "Your Navy Presents," a radio show hosted by Sam Riddle. This is the actual vinyl sent to Military Radio Stations for broadcast and includes the first two weekly broadcasts (there were four in total) and presented to stations on (2) lp's. This auction is for the FIRST LP.
The wonderful thing about this show is the live performances. There is cheesy dialogue between Karen and Richard and Sam (obviously scripted) but they were clearly new on the scene and this was probably a big deal for them. My favorite part about this broadcast was their IN STUDIO LIVE performances!!
