Hello,
This auction is for an authentic and original 7" record of Karen Elson singing the songs 'Vicious' b/w 'In Trouble With The Lord'. This record was released on Karen's then-husband Jack White's Third Man Records label as TMR 090. This was a special Record Store Day (RSD) 2011 limited edition release and what makes this record unique is that it was manufactured on clear vinyl with artificial pink rose petals pressed inside! Please note that sometimes these are referred to as "real" rose petals but, in fact, they are actually made out of sheer pink silk-like fabric (if you look closely, in person, you will see small threads at the edges of the petals). None the less, this really is a beautiful and quite unique record and I would imagine that each one had to have been handmade, as far arranging the petals is concerned. This record was issued in an unsealed clear plastic sleeve with the opening at the top and an approximately 1.5" round orange title sticker adhered to the upper right corner. This sleeve is split on both the sides and the bottom (evidently from sliding around inside the sleeve during shipping and handling) and the orange sticker has some marks on it so I will grade it as Very Good Minus (VG-). The record itself has some "spindle marks" around the center hole on both sides (I couldn't seem to capture them with my camera) so I will grade it as Near Mint Minus (NM-). The photos I've uploaded are of the actual record and sleeve I'm offering.
Shipping in the U.S. only is via USPS Media Mail and will cost you $3.00.
California buyers please be aware that state sales tax of 7.625% will be added to the sale price.
My apologies to Canadian and other international collectors but I am currently only selling and shipping inside the U.S.
I can combine similar type items (rolled posters with rolled posters, flat cardboard posters with flat cardboard posters, small handbills with small handbills, LPs with LPs etc.) to save you money on shipping. The combined shipping price will be based on package weight and insurance value.
