Description
Here's a pretty rare one: the lone lp from enigmatic uk anarcho-collectivists Karma Sutra... Comparable in sound and mood to their contemporaries Chumbawamba (particularly their "Pictures of Starving Children" period) with even a few discernible Smiths-esque trappings. Comes with a massive booklet detailing the political and social viewpoints of the band (the booklet is so dense, the band gave it a catalog number!). I don't know how many of these were pressed, but I'm sure it wasn't many-the band makes it clear they intend no copyright and hoped that the record would be taped and passed about freely. As good as (if not better than) their legendary demo cassette, truly a lost classic of the uk anarchopunk era.
Vinyl is in fine clean shape, no issues. The sleeve has some corner creasing and signs of age, but nothing serious, seams are fine, no ring wear, still plenty presentable. Booklet has some age spots on the cover but otherwise crisp. Overall quite a nice copy of this scarce classic. No reserve, bid hard!
