Description

Needs little introduction really, if you've got this far, you will know exactly what it is. I bought this record in a secondhand record shop shortly after it's release. I've hardly ever played it because I've got the CD as well. It's not a mint condition item for the following reasons (neither of which I am responsible for). The sticker has been removed from the front cover, the laminate has therefore been damaged. Far and away the most serious defect is that there is a very small burn on the front cover (clearly visible in Photo 1) and worse news is to follow! One of the records was in the sleeve when the burn occurred. Now for the up-side! Only one record was affected (Sea of Honey), on side B there is a small area that has melted slightly from the heat of the burn. However, the damage is in the run off groove of side B so doesn't affect play at all. But! Whatever it was, was so hot that it has left a small visible mark on side A, .... whilst the mark is visible on the final track, it produces nothing audible at all! So despite all of the above, this is a damn fine listen! Apart from the above .... both records are in extremely good condition (close to mint) with very very few visible light surface marks. I have just listened to both LPs all the way through and they sound very good indeed, I can't really imagine anyone being disappointed with the audio quality here. Comes with original inner sleeves, both of which are in good condition, just beginning to split at edges. Includes the booklet ... in excellent condition. The sleeve is in pretty good shape, a couple of minor dinks to top edge but nothing serious, spine is wide and crisp. The last two photos are of the booklet.
