Description


Up for auction is a nice original pressing of the Kate Bush album Hounds of Love, originally released in the U.S. on EMI Records (ST 17171) in 1985:
-Guaranteed original pressing, NOT reissue -Original grey EMI labels -MASTERED BY CAPITOL stamped in deadwax -Original inner sleeve w/ lyrics -Still in opened factory shrink wrap -NOT record club pressing -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile protective inner sleeve
Condition: Cover looks great, still protected by original shrink, with no significant signs of wear.  Corners are sharp, not bumped.  This album was very prone to yellowing or aging of the white background, but this one is still very white and clean looking, perhaps just a hint of age in upper right corner where the shrink is open (see photo), not significant.  Shrink is in great shape, still clean and shiny.  This cover would be very hard to upgrade. Grade: Near Mint (NM)
Vinyl is also very nice, still has its original shine.  No apparent scratches or scuffs, just some superficial signs and shadows of having been taken out of the paper inner sleeve a few times.  Labels are clean.  Looks like this record has been played maybe a couple times at most but handled with care. Grade: Excellent (EX)
