Original 1978 UK stereo press of PICTURE DISC LP by EMI #EMCP 3233
KATE BUSH titled "The Kick Inside"
CONDITION:
laminated cover: VG++ to Excellent
very lite shelf wear/soiling ~ a few small lite creases to spine & edges ~ 2 of the corners
have lite ~ but larger ~ creases, noticeable just on the back
vinyl: VG+
clean & glossy ~ a couple tiny microscopic grits ( so small difficult to detect) on a couple S1 tracks
makes 2 or 3 odd lite clicks ~ opening track on S1 has small stain spot on grooves ( litley feelible to
fingertips ~visually noticeable when angled to light ~ appears to be tape residue ~ does not affect play
integrity, but makes some soft lite crackle & a few lite clicks on the track ~ low level, but,noticeable ~
remainder of the side plays with just 2 or 3 odd lite clicks at the grits~S2 has 1 tiny lite mark on intro
that does not affect play , but, the side plays with a couple odd lite clicks & the whole side is more litely
crackly in more spots ~ low level, but, noticeable

This is the 2nd press (aimed at the U.S. market) with the "Made in the UK" line on the vinyl
~ but, with no sticker at all on the cover ~ see the scan ~ here's some detail ( from Wikipedia)
Six different varieties of the album's cover are known ~It is Bush's only album to have a different cover
in the U.K., the U.S., Canada, Yugoslavia, Japan and Uruguay (Uruguay being the rarest)
In the UK, it was released (twice) as a limited edition picture disc. This is housed in full colour outer
sleeve (UK 'Kite' picture by Jay Myrdal). It sports a sticker declaring that it's a picture disc (cat. no
EMCP 3223). Two versions were actually released The first edition has a circular sticker stating that it is
a picture disc (usually in the top left hand corner). The second pressing (apparently aimed at the US
market, where the first pressing had proven popular) has an oval sticker (usually top centre). The
second disc also states "manufactured in the UK by EMI records Ltd." as part of the copyright notice
printed on the disc. The first edition does not have this wording.
