KATE WOLF & The Wildwood Flower- Back Roads: 1st Ed Debut Release with Insert NM

Offered is  Kate Wolf & the Wildwood Flower:  Back Roads.  This is her Debut Album, and also the Debut Release for the Owl Records Label.

"Kate Wolf (born Kathryn Louise Allen, January 27, 1942 – December 10, 1986) was an American folk singer and songwriter. Though her career was relatively short, she had a significant impact on the folk music scene, and many musicians continue to cover her songs.

Born in San Francisco, she started her music career in the band Wildwood Flower before recording ten records as a solo artist. Her songs have since been recorded by artists such as Nanci Griffith and Emmylou Harris (whose recording of "Love Still Remains" was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1999). An important mentor, friend and touring companion was Utah Phillips.

She died in 1986, at age 44, after a long battle with leukemia. Her remains are buried at a small church cemetery in Goodyears Bar, California."

THE VINYL :  NM :  Lightly played with minimal evidence of spindlewear, both of the LP surfaces retain all of their original gloss. Evident are some light marks from sleevewear, and while there are no scratches visible,  visually present is a small amount of cosmetic imperfections in the vinyl mixture used in the manufacturing process. I did a playgrade on these, are there are no audio effects from them.  Undamaged Owl Labels with bright color (please see photos).
 
The record has been carefully handled, and the sound quality is impressive.



THE COVER :  NM :  Exceptionally well-stored / bright colors / sharp corners / no edgewear / no ringwear / all of the seams, including the spine, are intact / no writing, paper loss, stains or dirt.

Included is the original insert with a great photo of Kate and the track lyrics (please see photos).

We have placed both the cover and the LP into protective plastic sleeves.
