Run the Length Of Your Wildness is the first album by Kathe Green. It was originally released by Deram Records, a sister label to Decca Records.

Green wrote 10 of the album's 13 tracks and she was teamed up with in-house producer and head of A&R at Deram, Wayne Bickerton, arranger John Cameron and the cream of London session players. Cameron also co-wrote or solo-wrote some of the songs along with pianist Liz Sacks, former band mate Glenn Close, and even her agent Bunny Sacks and Wayne Bickerton getting in on the act.

The album was housed in a striking sleeve which featured gushing notes by the likes of Peter Sellers, Rex Harrison and Simon Dee.

 A very fine example of this extremely rare item on the DERAM MONO label, the mono variant being I believe to be much rarer than the stereo version. Single laminated sleeve is in generally very good  condition, spine very good and readable, some faint signs of ring wear. A large sticker removal mark is present front top right, some sticky residue from the adhesive is still present, with slight laminate damage. Not immediately noticeable at a glance until held to the light, but obviously not desirable There are a few minor creases, not serious. Also supplied with the original polythene lined inner sleeve, red coloured to denote the mono pressing & arranged so it shows through the holes on the rear sleeve top corner. I would rate sleeve at an overall VG-. The disc, visually is superb, beautiful sheen to the vinyl, NO surface marks or scratches visible. Labels are flawless, no writing or spider marks. The LP plays superbly throughout, with no discernable noise. NO edge warp. There are no skips, jumps etc. Stamper/matrix numbers are; ARL-8873.P-1A/ARL-8874 P.1A. Overall rating of disc is MINT-.   The disc has been play graded using the ARISTON Q DECK TRANSCRIPTION turntable, not the world's finest deck, nevertheless a quality machine.
A fine album overall, the sound quality is superb from the very heavy vinyl.

Grading Guidelines:

I will always try to accurately grade records, in many instances I will place a rating in between grades, ie EX+, EX-, VG+ etc, if I consider it to better describe the condition. I don't deliberately overrate records, or go stupid and fill a page with stunning!, awesome!, impossible to find in this condition etc, etc. This, I find extremely tiresome to be honest & should be treated with the derision it deserves.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. In my opinion, a record that has only been played a couple of times even, cannot truly be described as MINT. In these cases I will grade as MINT-.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
