KAWABATA MAKOTO Inui LP 1st release RARE! Acid Mothers Temple
1999 LP from Kawabata Makoto’s Inui, the first LP by this project from Acid Mothers Temple front-man Kawabata Makoto. Stunningly gorgeous masterfully crafted LP silk-screened by Alan Sherry, complete with smart bookmark style catalog insert, even the inside record sleeve is silk-screened, SIWA keeps an eye on the detail baby. This is the 7th release on Sherry’s vinyl only SIWA label. SIWA has gone on to release more eye and ear popping records by Chie Mukai, Jutok Kaneko, Masayoshi Urabe, Ikuro Takahashi, Nmperign and K Salvatore. This is an amazing release by Kawabata Makoto, he plays violin, sarangi, oud, bowed sitar, bouzouki, lyra, shou, nei, voice. Ginestet Audrey joins him on voice on the 1st track of the LP. Incredibly beautiful drones, deep, transparent. Total psych blissout. Out of print and what a shame it is.
