BECAUSE I LOVE YOU. rare 1979 private / self-released pressing out of detroit; gatefold cover. endearing low-budget solo organ granny plays, sings, and introduces each song. they all kinda sound alike, but maybe that's the charm? all are sweet / melancholy love songs with a midwestern twinge and strong shades of alfalfa serenading darla. looks like kay designed the cover too, and I'd guess that the pics were at least 20-30 years old at the time this was recorded. special stuff, highly recommended. listen to actual sound HERE.COVER = VG+ (avg shelf wear, mild UR corner bend, early UR corner split)
