Description

Here is a beautifully preserved US mono first pressing of A Dead-Beat Guitar And The Mississippi Blues, the 1954 LP by the highly regarded Delta bluesman, issued on the Road Recordings imprint of the Cook label. The vinyl is in VG+ condition with some faint storage marks from the inner sleeve on the play surface. Playback is quiet and excellent throughout with some light crackle. The cover is VG+ with creases at the two bottom corners (see pics above) and normal shelf wear otherwise. The audio linked below comes directly from this copy:
