KEITH CHRISTMAS “Pigmy” orig UK B&C psych folk lp M-

1971/UK/B&C CAS 1041….here’s a clean original UK pressing of  his third lp. The gatefold cover is in solid VG++ condition, there is a sticker tear top right corner, slight corner wear and spotty seam wear, otherwise clean with no splits, writing or other issues. The vinyl is in M- condition and plays clean with nice fidelity. The labels are clean with one very light spindle mark. A very nice copy for your collection! The tracks from "Pygmy" have different, more worked out instrument arrangements. The slightly mellow "Travelling Down" has an orchestral arrangement. The sweetly sung "Timeless & Strange" leaves the guitar and voice leading with additional harpsichord and some second guitar. Another orchestrated guitar song track, with violin improvisation, "Evensong", in minor chords is another favourite. Also the romantic "Poem" is arranged in a similar way. "The Waiting Grounds" is a 70's rock track with the earlier mentioned band. Both last tracks are more ambitiously arranged. "Song for a survival" has various rock arrangements (backing choir vocals, great jazzy and freaky 70's rock, some brass improvisations) stretching the song over 9 minutes. Last track, "Forest and the shore" has not only an accompanying rock band arrangement, but even a complete backing choir, mellotron, organ, and more improvisational singing. What great albums these were ! A fine and recommended release for those who like the 70's sound of original pop-folk singer-songwriting.

MINT: as stated with no defects

M- OR NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.

AIR POSTAGE TO USA IS $10 ...OR $8 SURFACE IF THE PACKAGE WEIGHS LESS THAN 500 GRAMS(one regular weight pressing).........USA AIR POSTAGE FROM 500 GRAMS TO 1 KILO IS $15 AND SURFACE MAIL IS $12(usually 1-3 lp’s depending on individual weight)

INTERNATIONAL AIR POSTAGE(depending on destination) UNDER 500 grams is $17 to $21(one regular weight lp), OVER 500 grams UP TO 1000g is $30 to $36(usually up to 3 lp’s depending on individual weight), INTERNATIONAL AIR POSTAGE BETWEEN 1000g AND 2000g (usually between 3 and 6 lp’s depending on individual weight) is $49 to $55.

IN CANADA..postage is $10 for 1-8 lp’s fully insured with tracking.
