Four Sides To the Story

SEALED Limited Edition Vinyl 2 LP felt-lined box set. Not Two Records. Stereo. COVER & VINYL: MINT still sealed, never played.

Released in 2006.

Limited Edition vinyl record box set, Recorded November 23, 2005 at the Alchemia, Krakow, Poland.

KEN VANDERMARK…KENT KESSLER…TIM DAISY…FRED LONBERG-HOLM…DAVE REMPIS

Limited edition 2 LP box set documenting the V5’s 2005 gigs in Poland on their “Color of Memory” European Tour.  Four Sides rivals Not Two’s superb Alchemia 12 CD box set in quality, is even more limited in quantity, and features live material from both Color and the quintet’s  A Discontinuous Line.  This hefty beast is an absolute must-have – and it’s the first such artifact from the V5 lineup with Fred Lonberg-Holm on cello.

Packaged in a collectible felt-lined box!

Excerpt from the included book: When I look back and think about the ideas we were dealing with a year ago, and when I listen to the recording held in that club, I’m confronted with the failures that are there; which is probably why I’d rather be doing something else than writing these liner notes right now. But I’m also excited by what I hear, that the start of the music by the new quintet was so strong. From night to night it continues to be, which is why after ten years this ensemble is still looking for it’s next gig- so that it can keep finding something different to say and hopefully pay some of the rent along the way.

GRADING. Grading is visual only unless otherwise stated. I go by Goldmine standards and try to be conservative. I will play grade on certain items only - it is just impossible for me to play grade everything I put on EBAY. MINT means factory sealed, never opened or played. NM is opened but in visually brand new, out-of-the-packaging clean condition. NM- is not NM! Its a grade above VG++ and below Near Mint - it does not imply perfect. In my terminology Scratches are feeler type and Scuffs are just cosmetic and usually inaudible.

DISCLAIMER. Due to the number of frivolous returns which were unwarranted, and due to the nature of sound recorded products that can be easily copied, there will no longer be a free return policy. I will charge a $10.00 return fee for all returns - this amount will be deducted from the Paypal refund of the returned item.  If item is truly defective the entire purchase amount will be refunded as long as the item is in the same condition as it was sent.  ***BUYER PAYS FOR ALL RETURN SHIPPING FEES.***
