This likable live set from guitarist Kenny Burrell has a strong supporting cast (Tina Brooks on tenor, either Bobby Timmons or Roland Hanna on piano, bassist Ben Tucker, and drummer Art Blakey) .... The swinging music, highlighted by "Lady Be Good," "Birks Works," the blues "36-23-36," and Burrell's feature on "Lover Man," is quite mainstream for the period and predictably excellent.

AND, LASTLY, PLEASE DO REMEMBER SOUND QUALITY IS AFFECTED BY WHAT THE VINYL IS PLAYED ON!!!

PLEASE VISIT MY EBAY STORE FOR OTHER RARE AND COLLECTABLE VINYL

GRADING & POLICIES: ALL RECORDS ARE VISUALLY GRADED AND INDICATE STATE OV VINYL(COVER NOTED SEPARATELY); IF I'VE LISTENED TO THE LP IT WILL BE NOTED. The following is a general overview about grades, subject to any above notations: MINT indicates pristine vinyl without any marks on surface. MINT MINUS may contain a few very light surface marks from play or sleeve wear under light. If you are a real collector, you'll know that even a factory sealed LP occasionally has some light sleeve or rub marks. Anything in the VG category would contain more than two surface marks or have some other visible signs of ring or hole wear. Rarely do I offer something in the "G" state. If I do, it's usually a rare LP and priced accordingly. Values are assigned according to market availability and rarity, not a price guide.

PAYMENT: PAYPAL ONLY ACCEPTED AND SHOULD BE MADE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF SALE END (IF YOU BID ON SOMETHING YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED TO PAY FOR IT). IF PAYING BY PAYPAL E-CHECK PLEASE ADVISE BEFORE BIDDING. I like to ship your records out within 2-3 days of payment, so using PAYPAL gets the records to you ASAP and concludes the transaction. Contact me after the auction if your PAYPAL payment will be delayed so I know what's going on. Shipping charge applies to any number of LPs in the U.S. and one record foreign. If you purchase more than one record at a time, you can edit the EBAY or PAYPAL checkout page where the other discounts (-) or charges (+) signs are in the subtotal column to only pay for one shipping amount. IF YOU CAN NOT EDIT THE SHIPPING CHARGES TO REFLECT FOR FOREIGN $21(2), $24(3) OR $27(4), PLEASE PAY WHAT'S LISTED AND DIFFERENCE WILL BE REFUNDED TO YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT.

SHIPPING:QUESTION: WHY ARE SHIPPING CHARGES SO HIGH? ANSWER: BECAUSE ALL LPS ARE SHIPPED WITH A NEW PLASTIC OUTER SLEEVE SURROUNDED BY NEW CORRUGATED PACKING SQUARES(35 cents each) INSIDE A NEW CORRUGATED LP MAILER($1.10) WITH FRAGILE STICKERS OUTSIDE TO ENSURE THE LP ARRIVES JUST AS IT LEFT AND ARE SENT PRIORITY MAIL INSURED DOMESTIC OR MEDIA MAIL(INSURANCE OPTIONAL) AND FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL MAIL FOR FOREIGN. SO THAT'S A BUCK EIGHTY INVESTED IN YOUR PACKAGE BESIDES POSTAGE!

YOUR SATISFACTION:Your positive feedback and excellent seller rating of 5 in each category is very important to me. I try to give as much detail as possible about appearance and condition. Should your purchase not meet your expectations please contact me before leaving feedback and detailed seller ratings. Your satisfaction is of prime importance. Do you know how the Ebay Seller Ratings System works? Did you know that even a 4 rating is a bad rating for a seller? With most rating systems of 1 to 5(highest), you would expect a "4" to be a very good rating and a "5" to be an excellent/highest rating. You purchase an item on Ebay and the product, service, communications or fees were very good but not great. You give the seller all 4's thinking this is very good.(Most rating systems equate 1=lowest, 2=fair, 3=good, 4=very good, 5=highest). Unfortunately this is not how it works on EBAY as of May 2008. ONLY A "5" IS A GOOD RATING. The lowest acceptable average for each category is 4.6; below that a seller receives a "NEEDS WORK" and their standings in the listings are lowered. SURPRISING BUT TRUE AND SEEMINGLY UNFAIR. DOMESTIC ONLY: MEDIA MAIL IS OFFERED AT $4.00. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE INSURANCE & MAY TAKE 3-10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR DELIVERY. INSURANCE IS OPTIONAL AT $1.70. YOU ALSO HAVE THE CHOICE AND I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT TO CHOOSE PRIORITY MAIL FOR $8.50, WHICH WILL INCLUDE INSURANCE AND WILL ARRIVE IN 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS OF MAILING.
