Year: 1956
Personnel:
Frank Foster, tenor sax (1-2, 1-3, 1-4); Tommy Flanagan (1-1, 1-4, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4) or Bobby Timmons (1-3), piano; Oscar Pettiford (1-4, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4) or Paul Chambers (1-1), bass; Kenny Clarke (1-1), Arthur Edgehill (1-3), or Shadow Wilson (1-4, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4).
Condition:
DISC: Nice VG+ with most of the original gloss remaining. Fidelity is excellent. A few minor hairline scuffs but no serious marks, a very nice playing copy.
JACKET: VG+ with a few relatively minor cosmetic flaws. Surface wear is beginning to appear on front and reverse. Seams display some wear. Reverse is free of any writing, stickers, or other problems. Not a perfect jacket by any means, but still probably satisfactory for most collectors considering the excellent playing quality of the disc.
