Description

Here we have Kenny Dorham "Afro Cuban" on Blue Note, 1535. Original 1st issue with Lexington address on cover and label. Ok, now the bad news. Record grades about G. Many many digs and scratches--some you can feel. I played it and it actually plays OK. I'm not gonna lie and say it plays great. At times it does play in the VG range but then it gets more noisy here and there. Definitely has cracks and pops. But no loud hiss or anything that overwhelms the music. I noticed one BIG dig that caused the needle to lock on third track side one. It might be able to be fixed so it at least plays thru. I wouldn't be offering this if it wasn't playable--it is, but condition freaks need to STEER CLEAR! Cover is graded poor. It was disassembled at one time and mounted on heavy board stock. Tape around all edges. And record goes where spine used to be.

I use a NM/EX/VG+/VG/VG-/G grading scale. My near mint is like new. My EX is very very clean with only superficial marks. My VG+ shows signs of use but no scratches that are deep. My VG is like a VG+ but with just more light scratches or marks, again nothing deep.
