Description

For auction is "KENNY DORHAM & Friends," on Jazzland JLP-14, MONO, 1960. With Kenny Drew, Wilbur Ware, others.

SOUND:

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The record sounds very nice, with very minor background noise throughout, as well as a stray, soft "pop" in a couple places. Really only heard in the softer passages. Not anything to interfere with the enjoyability of the music by any means!

VINYL: VG+

Visually, the vinyl  looks pretty good. It has a few scuffs or faint marks that don't look worrisome. Nothing "feelable." The record has small, orange Jazzland labels with deep grooves.

COVER: VG-

The left-hand spine is split most of the way. Top and bottom are together, but worn. Corners are a little rounded. The front has a few small areas of missing paper, otherwise clean and unmarked. The back is not bad, clean with routine wear and a "Pomo" stamp.

The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.

This is a very nice record that plays well. No reserve, bidding starts at $10.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.

If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
