Up for auction is the extremely rare 60’s garage lp Teen Dreams (LP 6000, there is no any indication but plays mono) by KENNY Daniel & THE KASUALS!!!!!
It's sure exactly an official release, seems to me like a private pressing, with hand made picture (!!!) cover, although pressing label is Mark Ltd., in which the group released some of its singles plus the one and only album back in 1966, if i’m not wrong… And if "Impact" lp was the "holy grail" for any Kenny's fan/collector this one is THE REAL GEM cause introduces for the first time in an 12'' lp all the great historic studio garage punk tunes of the band and not only the frenzy atmosphere of the club by playing already common playing second versions of other groups!
Well, actually this is the first original totally complete group’s garage 60’s single compilation official album, released in only a very few copies the late '70's!!! I bought it by a Texas seller before eleven years, and I’m not sure if there was any relationship with any of band’s members. In addition, i do not remember to see anything like this up for selling auction the last decade, so i suppose this is a great chance!!! I’ll explain right now why I’m sayin’ all these things!!!
First of all, the thick cardboard cover looks in EXCELLENT condition, only the slightest wear, the front guitar photo is paper made, is probably glued (!!!), graphic red/black lines are hand made (!!!). There is also a two named pencil signature, I cannot read well, name Lee is surely one of them, but this name belongs to a member group and to producer too, maybe someone of them signed for a previous owner fan, I don’t know… On the other, on rear there are a lot of red stamps, in some of them there is color wear, but there is also one on bottom right side with producer Mark Lee’s info!!! Release was probably numbered, code number is on the left side (i’m not quite sure if the number is 4 or 34…), but, again, there are two initials written, a double ‘‘L’’ letter!!! Mr. Lee, the producer??? Mystery… Only slight cover wear, except a small grey mark on front left by a removed price sticker maybe… NO discoloration, NO splits! Check out the pics!
Red Vinyl is thick, looks in VG++ condition, under strong light, shows only a few hairlines and super light scuffs, but they do not affect play, they caused maybe from inner sleeve, still retains its original gloss partially, plays nice and clear, very close to NEAR MINT!!! Recording is superb, really professional job, vinyl is thick, tracks sound loud and fine!!! Audibly, there are only a few light ticks and clicks, NO other heavy ticks or crackles, NO background noise at all, NO skips, NO pops, NO jumps!!! It sounds absolutely CLEAR, crystal, loud and crispy!!! Original white labels with Mark logo are in EXCELLENT++ condition, NO wear, are shiny white and clean, NO marks, NO writing, NO spindle wear!!!
