Long-time music loving vinyl/memorabilia hound here. Grading is very strict & satisfaction is guaranteed, bid/buy with confidence. All non-sealed vinyl has been cleaned, all records are graded both aurally and visually. I use NEAR MINT- to NEAR MINT (my highest grade)/VG, w/ +/- variables. Yes, I combine shipping. No excessive shipping or 'handling' charges - buyer will pay approximately what the USPS charges me for shipping, give or take a bit. If I overcharge you excessively for shipping, you will be reimbursed the overage.  All U.S. packages are shipped via media mail, unless buyer requests otherwise.

Never Let Me Go b/w I Gotta Feelin' 45 - KENT AND THE CANDIDATES (Leisa LE-1001)

Original 1966 or 1967? U.S. 7" 45. Good private soul/funk 45 from near by Leavenworth, Kansas. If I'm not mistaken, the leader of this band was KENT SPRAGUE (a/k/a KENT DuBARRI), who relocated to California soonafter this disc was released & released 2 singles as KENT & THE CANDIDATES on Double Shot in 1967, then another on Liberty in '68. He was later in BOONE'S FARM, a mostly country-rock band w/ 1 LP on Columbia in 1972, & after that he was half of the duo DALTON & DuBARRI. D&D released 4 unsuccessful (for the most part) albums in the '70s, plus they had 1 funky, disco-fied single that charted in 1979. This must have been where it all started for DuBARRI (SPRAGUE), a songwriter still active to this day, I believe... This single came from a recently uncovered collection of a former local radio station employee - there were 2 copies in the stash, both UNPLAYED - the other copy can be found elsewhere on this site...

Disc = NEAR MINT- to NEAR MINT (HIGH GLOSS - virtually PERFECT)
