c. 1946 issue, recorded at WWL Radio Station, Roosevelt Hotel, New Orleans, August 21, 1940.
Records are in E- / V+ condition.. Labels are good. Binder is in Very Good condition, shelf wear. Binder spine is intact and tight.

Considered the first recordings of the New Orleans Jazz revival, these sides contain high energy, HOT New Orleans Jazz. Trombonist Big Jim Robinson plays with the most energy and imagination I have ever heard from him. It is also wonderful to hear clarinetist Alphonse Picou play the chorus he originated on "High Society".
