Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

PUT ON MORNING ... 8-inch, 45rpm 1-sided ELDORADO STUDIO label ACETATE / DUBPLATE by an UNKNOWN GROUP / ARTIST. Original '60s (circa 1967) item housed in an AUDIODISCS custom paper sleeve. Groovy and mysterious garage psych tune with acid folk and west coast hippie cum sunshine pop influences. We have no idea who the artist / group is. Possibly an obscure demo by a band from the San Francisco / LA underground or even more famous (?) Whatever, this is a hip and infectious slice of psych Americana with sustained fuzz distortions / folk tinged lead vocals and counterpoint harmony over a tempo changing groove. Sophisticated lyrics if you listen closely. Cool crossover sound too (like a Sunset Strip grindhouse / B-movie / biker exploitation theme) with pumping bassline / Farfisa organ and agitated mod beat rhythms. Great for DJs and a very interesting item for USA psych loving compilers if this track was never released. The acetate has a generic Eldorado Studio label with typed PUT ON MORNING title and is housed in an Audiodiscs custom paper sleeve. The Eldorado Studio was based in Hollywood, Los Angeles. From the mid '50s, it was the workshop of Johnny Otis and also recorded the music of '60s psychedelic bands like Canned Heat. Anyone recognise the group or song we have recorded for our soundclip? Possible unique one-off / inedit item. Please note that since this is an 8inch item and heavier than a standard vinyl single, the actual postage cost may be slightly higher than our quoted prices for a 7inch item (see registered postage costs below as a guide). Rare 45!!!    

Acetate is in shiny VG++ condition overall regardless of a some light scuffs and hairlines from storage. Some old pressing residue to the recorded side of the disc. Light surface noises (to be expected for such a pressing) but surprisingly clean sound overall. Item taken from the original vinyl archive of an important record label who had offices in Milan. The Audiodiscs paper sleeve is graded VG+ regardless of any general wear and tears. Mini archive stickers / archive numbers in pen / ring creasing from storage. Rare 45!!!
