KILLING JOKE Love Like Blood 12" MASTER ROOM ACETATE + PROMO FLYER Gestalt
Killing Joke, Love Like Blood.
Scarce circa 1985 Master Room acetate with promo/pre-release insert from EG records.
Housed in blue card die-cut sleeve.
Not stated on label, but flyer indicates that this is the Gestalt Mix. Timing on label is 5:05.
Interestingly, this is a double sided acetate. The B side has no label and features a slightly Jazz Funk tinged typical mid-1980's Pop track. I'm not a Killing Joke aficionado by any means, but this does not sound anything like Killing Joke to me. The A side is definitely correct however.
Acetate in visually VG condition. The surfaces have a few grey spots and light scuff marks, but there are no deep digs, scractches or chipping of the surface layer. The surfaces still have an acceptably high gloss. None of the metal beneath the surface layer is visible. Playback is generally very much better than surfaces indicate. Some light crackle is evident at the run-in, but as soon as the track kicks in playback is very clean and free of crackle, ticks or skips. The recording is very loud and vibrant. The B side has similar playback.
Flyer is in excellent condition with just a little minor creasing at top edge.
