KIM NOVAK HAND-SIGNED “PAL JOEY” MOVIE SOUNDTRACK LP (E)!
1957’s “Pal Joey” was one of the films that established Kim Novak as a star to be reckoned with as she more than held her own opposite Frank Sinatra playing his love interest in this movie version of the Rodgers & Hart musical. This Capitol soundtrack LP was autographed in black Sharpie by the star at a July 30, 20l0 screening of “Pal Joey” with another Kim starrer, “Bell, Book, and Candle,” a double bill at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood for the American Cinematheque. (SEE ticket photo.) This screening was part of a series of her films the Cinematheque was showing in tribute to the star who showed up for the screenings, sitting demurely in the balcony and kindly signing autographs for audience members afterwards. The record is in Excellent (E) condition; however, it should be noted that in the upper right corner of the back of the album is a small black square with the word “K-Mart” written underneath.
