On sale a rare 1st uk Press of Earthbound by King Crimson characterized by the Pink "i" label and the A1/B1 matrices in excellent condition.
 

Earthbound contains the band's first official live release of their signature song "21st Century Schizoid Man”, and an extended live version of their 1970 non-LP B side “Groon". It also contains two improvised tracks with scat vocals from Boz Burrell (Bad Company). The recordings were captured live on an ampex stereo cassette fed from a Kelsey Morris’ custom built mixer operated by John Robson and Hunter Macdonald on Schizoid Man and Groon and Hunter Macdonald on the other titles: at Jacksonville in the rain from the back of a Volkswagen truck.

The vinyl is visually graded in excellent condition. Please see below a description of grades and note that this vinyl is almost 47 years old that has been played and will not transform into anything different to the condition stated.

The Island pink 'i' labels are in excellent plus condition.

The sleeve is in very good plus condition due to a sticker removal that has been covered in black ink to match the rest of the cover.

The spine is mostly legible but feathered.

A visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and sixty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect.

Mint
Cover - Looks new - no marks, wear or damage
Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible

Near Mint
Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.
Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve

Excellent
Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.
Disc- The record has been played and has superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.

Very good
Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.
Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.

Good
Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.
Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler
