Description
This is a first pressing of In The Court of The Crimson King by King Crimson on lovely thick vinyl.
It was purchased new by me in 1969 and has only ever been played on a Thorens TD160 deck with a Shure EJ95 elliptical stylus and not many times.
The record label is the unadorned pink Island label as it should be and it is on Island ILPS-9111.
It has the matrix numbers A2/B4.
The vinyl is lovely and shiny, there are no serious surface scratches although it would probably benefit from a clean and there are virtually no spindle wear marks on the centre hole.
The inner vinyl sleeve (not shown) is also the original one and is in good condition with UK Patent No. 1,072,844 Foreign Patents Pending printed along the bottom right corner.
All in all a rare and very desirable album.
