KING CRIMSON ISLANDS UK LP First Pressing A-1U B-1U Pink Rim Vinyl is strong EX
Up for sale here:
KING CRIMSON. ISLANDS. ISLAND ISLP 9175 1971. This is an original pressing with A-1U B-1U matrix numbers first pressing on the pink rim palm tree label.
The vinyl is in really nice condition. Sadly, the inner sleeve is missing.

Matrix Numbers: ILPS 9175 A-1U / ILPS 9175 B-1U
Mother stampers 1 OD / 1 RA.
The vinyl is graded as excellent (EX). The record has a wonderful deep gloss shine to it and has only a light amount of very fine hairlines. There are no deeper marks or damage. A really nice copy, very close to EX+ condition.
LABELS ~ EX+ Both labels are generally clean with no writing or significant defects.
OUTER SLEEVE. ~ VG+
The original single sleeve is graded at VG+. Overall it is a clean example with just normal wear to the edges and a very light amount of ringwear which isn’t really that noticeable and doesn’t detract too much. Overall it is a very acceptable cover.
INNER SLEEVE. n/a
The original lyric inner sleeve is missing but this does come with a generic white inner which dates from this period.
Postage and Packing:All records are been placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping. Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s
