Description
KING CRIMSON In The Wake Of Poseidon LP, Vertigo ILPS9127, New Zealand pressing, gatefold sleeve opening to inside.
The New Zealand original issue which came out on Vertigo - label the same on both sides (no big swirl).
Cover VG and Vinyl VG. Cover worn on edges, especially spine (but not split). Small area of damage to lower left front corner, light creases to corners, some rubbing wear to laminated outer (inner is very good). Name in pen top of inner gatefold. Vinyl has had some use - light marks Side 1 (surface scratch across - no clicks), marks around spindle. Side 2 quite clean. Plays well overall, decent sound but with light needle wear mainly audible in quieter sections. Wear most obvious on the short acoustic pieces that start and end sides - bit of distortion on last track but not anywhere else. Label has name in pen one side.

grading
Grading done visually and by playing a few sections. Any scratches tested.
MINT means as new. If the record appears almost unplayed I use NEAR MINT. This is not a common grading.
EXCELLENT means played but well cared for, very little (if any) lessening in sound quality, no scratches. Cover may have very light wear. A quality used record!
VG+ means definitely used but without any major deterioration in sound quality, may have some light surface wear, surface marks or small, light scratches. These will be detailed in my description. Cover has some wear, but no major creases or seam splits. A very good record!
VG means played to the point of developing surface wear, and/or some deeper scratches. These will be detailed. Cover displays general wear and tear.
Anything less will be described and not given a grading.
