Description
KING CRIMSON - In The Wake Of Poseidon
Rare 1970 UK first press 10-track stereo LP on the pink with white 'i' logo Island label, textured gatefold picture sleeve.
Vinyl - VG+ Sleeve - VG++
Cat number :
ILPS-9127 - Stereo
Matrix number: ILPS 9127 A//1
ILPS 9127 B//1
Vinyl :
The vinyl is in VG+ condition with minor surface scuffs to vinyl. Some more visual but light surface marks to side 1. Plays fine on my deck with only very minor background noise. Two clean labels and tidy undamaged center label spindle holes. The vinyl remains in superb condition retaining a glorious luster after 45+ years on!.
Sleeve :
The textured gatefold sleeve is in VG++ condition. The printing is exceptionally bold with images are sharp. This is the early textured issue sleeve printed by 'E Day J Group'. Some minor corner scuffs & minor all round edge wear scuffs. Some light creasing. The whole cover feels very solid. Comes complete with original plain inner sleeve with inner ploy bag all in tidy condition.
Track Listing :
1. Peace - A Beginning
2. Pictures Of A City - Including 42nd At Treadmill
3. Cadence And Cascade
4. In The Wake Of Poseidon - Including Libra's Theme
5. Cat Food
6. The Devil's Triangle
7. Merday Morn
8. Hand Of Sceiron

10. Peace - An End
Lovely example of a rare early 1970's Prog Rock album.
