Description
KING CRIMSON – Red *ORIG Island LP* ILPS 9308 (UK, Stereo, 1974)
Happy to present this original pink-rim copy of Crimson’s superb 1st period swan song.
The fully laminated sleeve is in VG+ (Very Good Plus) condition. Some shelf rubs to the top and bottom edges and less so to the spine (all text legible). One light crease to the front and a few edge creases to the rear. Slight ring impression (not wear). Sits flat and proud, no splits, tears, writing or staining. Overall probably closer to EX.
The original ‘palm tree’ labels are just fine. Only mild spindle evidence and no writing or stickers.
The medium weight vinyl is a lovely example – no scratches, no hairlines. Some faint, very hard to see soft scuffs (nearly invisible). Looks pretty much unmarked. Visually grades EX+ (Excellent Plus). IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and plays superb – NO snap, crackle or pop and NO hiss, distortion or loss of clarity.
Supplied in original light blue Island company inner.
