                           KING  CRIMSON  " IN  THE  WAKE  OF  POSEIDON "  RARE ALBUM

                                Released in 1970  on the " PINK  ISLAND "  LABEL  ILPS 9127

                                                 Condition:-   EXCELLENT / NEAR  MINT

                    I bought this Album in 1970 the year it was released.  It was a special order from my
                    local record shop and was never put out on display for the public to handle.  It was
                    played on a high quality turntable for that era (Thorens 125 turntable, SME arm with
                    Shure V15 cartridge.)  The LP was always cleaned with a high quality record cleaner
                    and stored in a plastic outer sleeve for protection. I am not a record dealer, I am just
                    selling off my own private Album collection.

                                                                    THE  COVER

                   The COVER is in EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT condition.  It is in a WOVEN TEXTURED
                   GATEFOLD with a HIGH SHEEN finish.  The FRONT and BACK cover is definately
                   NEAR MINT, there is not a mark in sight.  The FOUR CORNERS are FIRM and TRUE
                   with only one extremely light scuff mark on the front cover sleeve opening end.  The SPINE
                   is SUPERB.  It is SQUARE, CLEAR without any sign of any wear.  Inside the GATEFOLD
                   I would have classed as NEAR MINT except for two minute marks and a little 1/2 cm split
                   about 2cms from the spine on the top left of the right sleeve.  The SLEEVE OPENING
                   ends of the gatefold has no wear and looks straight as new.  For and ALBUM COVER of
                   38 years old it is in an AMAZING condition, not to be missed !

                                                                     THE  VINYL

                   The VINYL is in NEAR MINT condition.  It is in a HIGH GLOSS MIRROR finish and is
                   VERY CLEAN.  There are no hairlines or scratches or finger marks.  The LABELS are
                   BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN with no wear except on Side 2. there are a few very light SPINDLE
                   marks almost invisible.  The SOUND quality is SUPERB, VERY CLEAN DETAILED audio.
                   The TEST PLAY was the first time my Album has been played in 36 years !  It's been
                   played no more that 5 times in total.  I test played it on my REGA PLANAR 3 with ORTOFON
                   cartridge.  It was great to hear this Album again after so many years, it played BEAUTIFULLY
                   throughout, except for just a few extremely light pops on Side 1. on the quiet introduction.
                   This is a rare Album on the "PINK " Label in SUPERB condition !
