(Michael Williams better known to the world of roots reggae as Prince Far I performing here under his first nom-de-guerre...King Cry Cry...as given by Bunny Lee...strictly roots & culture ina de area when Far I is around...this is the first cut of his big JA hit "Deck Of Cards"...later revived for producer Joe Gibbs...but first is first and second is nutten...chanting over the deep roots cut known to reggae-pundits from Noel Robinson's dread affair for Lloyd Barnes' Aires-label called "It's Like Yesterday"...King Cry Cry ina deep conscious mood..."When I See The Ace It Reminds Me...That There Is One God...The Two Remind Me That The Bible Is Parted Into Two Parts...The Old & The New Testament..."...wicked sounds from JA deep roots...anyway...this comes as original first press on a blank Winston "Bunny" Riley Serpent-pre...from around 1973/74...most serious sounds...to shake the ground...scarce as a pink elephant in a ballroom...as I&I'd say...watch out...and watch out for my other reggae-items...soundfile on request...just send in your email-address!!!)

WAX'N'SOUND: vg+/ex-, lite edge warp, may need a light ex weight, no prob, plays thru fine, both sides show light wear only, some light surface marks and light surface scratches, plays sweet w/ killer punch + very good, clear sound, there's some crackle and a few clicks to be expected, more on King Cry Cry's side!
LABEL: BLANK LABELS show light general wear, NO writings/markings except for pencil handwritten artist/title, NO damages apart from manufacturing fault on A-side (see scan) - watch the scan, please!

Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often).
Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being). THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE: EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...) VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...) G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...) P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
