This is a reasonably priced original 1961 U.S. Seg-Way Records 45 RPM record containing the instrumental tunes titled 'Hot Rod'/'Bonaparte's Retreat' from R&B sax legend King Curtis. It is Seg-Way Records U.S. catalog number 1006, red Seg-Way Records labels. This 45 is a GUARANTEED 1961 ORIGINAL, NOT A 'REPRO' REPRODUCTION OR A LATER COLLECTOR'S PRESSING. This is a super record musically, with hot rockabilly style guitar throughout and a nice King Curtis sax break. Condition of record is a real nice high VG+ with just a few light surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Labels have a little contact wear, no other real flaws. A nice addition to any instrumental rockabilly or R&B record collection!
