Description



"That's The Reason" is a fine Deep Soul Ballad from the artist,  the other side of the acetate is the funkier "That's When I Woke Up". King Earnest had a release on Sonic with these two sides- I'm assuming these two songs are the same as the Sonic release. This version of "That's The Reason" has no spoken intro. I have another acetate of the same song that has the spoken intro up for auction this week.

  The 8" acetate is in very good ++ condtion- it plays through with nicely with no problems . The acetate comes  with a free Audiodiscs sleeve that has writing on one side and three or four tears around the center hole on the other side of the sleeve.

I received an e-mail from a fellow e-bayer saying one of the versions I have listed Of "That's The Reason"  is by Buster Benton. I don't know if it's this version or the version on the 10" acetate. Once I find out which version is which , I will add it to the listing. Sorry for any confusion I caused.

Did a little research and found out the other version ( the 10" acetate) of "That's The Reason" is the version by Buster Benton. As far as I know, this version is by King Earnest Baker. Sorry for any confusion I might have caused.
