Description

This is the original UK LP by the KINKS, SOMETHING ELSE BY THE KINKS, 1967 MONO 1st Press on the PYE label NPL 18193. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:-  NPL 18193A - 1 M,  SIDE 2:-  NPL 181193B - 1M.

The original 1967 UK Mono 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover, with 'Patents pending; credit is in a VG+ condition, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, their is some wear to the edges and and a liile discolouring to  the back on the right hand side, nothing major, the spine shows some wear, but is fully intact, broad and perfectly readable, a solid cover.

The vinyl is in EX+ condition, gleaming with all it's original shine and just pressed lustre. The impressive heavy weight vinyl plays EX+++ /MINT-!, playing with beautiful crisp clear clarity!, a wonderful quality 1967 Mono 1st Pressing!

The label's are im EX+ condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all their original bright vibrant red/pink colour, their is no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindle hole area shows a little wear, lovely label's.

The vinyl is housed in a ploythene lined inner sleeve and is in EX conditionm their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits..

Altogether a SUPERB copy of this RARE original 1967 UK MONO 1st pressing LP by the KINKS, SOMETHING ELSE BY THE KINKS. Quintesentionally British, and very much of it's time, and for me still stands the test of time, a absoulte classic album, filled to the brim with superb tracks, all penned by Ray and Dave Davis, tracks:-  ' The Soldier Man', 'Afternoon Tea', Death of a Clown and the sublime 'Harry Rag' and 'Two Sisters' are amongst others that make this a truely superb album.
