Description

This is the original UK LP by the KINKS, SOMETHING ELSE BY THE KINKS, 1st Press MONO, released in October 1967 on the red PYE label NPL 18193. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- NPL 18193A-1*M, SIDE 2:- NPL 18193B-1*M, the LP is complete with the original silver foil cover and a original PYE inner sleeve.

The original 1967 UK 1st issue MONO, silver foil Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover is in EX++ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, no seam splits, and no scuffs or damage, the spine is fully intact and perfectly readable, GREAT CONDITION!.

The vinyl is in VG+++ condition, plays superbly with only a little light crackle, mainly inbetween tracks, their is a scuff on the 1st track on side 2, plays through perfectly with no jumps or sticking, their is the VERY SLIGHTEST 'HINT' of two clicks, THEY ARE VERY VERY HARD TO DETECT!!!, just being very thorough in my audio grading, the LP PLAYS SUPERBLY!, the quality of the MONO is STUNNING!, A GREAT LP, I NEVER GET TIRED OF LISTENING TO "HARRY RAG", WHAT A GREAT TRACK!, THE LP IS FULL OF SIMPLY SUBLIME TRACKS!!!, THEIR BEST LP BY FAR! IN MY OPINION.

The label's are in EX condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no scuffs, minimal wear to the spindal hole.

The LP is housed in a original 1960's PYE inner sleeve and in MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, great condition.

Altogether a great copy of this RARE original 1967 UK 1st Press MONO LP, by the KINKS, SOMETHING ELSE BY THE KINKS, FULL OF GREAT TRACKS.
