Grading - All of my records are carefully visually graded under bright light and fully play graded before auction.

The Record is visually graded Excellent/Excellent Plus

The Record Labels are graded Excellent

The cover is graded Excellent Minus

The sound quality from all four sides is superb

Record

The record has a beautiful glossy appearance and lays 100% flat on the turntable and has no warping. Under bright light I could make out just the odd extremely light mark and hairline only. A really well cared for album. I have graded the record Excellent/Excellent Plus.

Labels

The pink and black pye labels are in nice condition. The spindle hole has little or no wear. There are around 5 visible spindle lines on side one and 10 – 15 on side 2.The labels are graded Excellent.

Cover

The patents pending Garrad and Lofthouse  cover is laminated to the front. There is no ring-wear evident to the front or back. The front cover shows some light laminate and thumbnail type creases. The rear cover has some age related dulling to the mainly white surface and a crease to the top right corner area. The three flip-backs do show some darkening along the laminate edges through storage. The corners are fine with tiny rounding only. The edges are straight and unworn with some random light marks and laminate wrinkles. All of the spine text is legible.the cover is graded Excellent Minus

 Inner Sleeves

The inner sleeve is a plain white poly-lined inner in excellent condition with no tears or seam splits.

Sound Quality

The album easily plays to its visual grading and beyond with superb audio quality. I have played graded the entire album track by track and there is no hiss, crackle or distortion at all to be heard. Even the run in, run out and between track grooves are near silent. I did hear  about two light pops somewhere, but that is the only comment I can think to mention! A fantastic playing album throughout.

Please see scans of cover and labels below

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

All of my listed records are carefully visually inspected under bright light and play graded before auction to avoid any disappointment to buyers, so bid with confidence.

The grading system I use is from Record Collector: - Mint, Excellent, Very Good with +/- to distinguish borderline grades (see below)

Mint. This is in brand new un-played condition.

Excellent. Some signs of being played, but very little lessening of sound quality. There can be minor cover wear and/or creasing.

Very Good. The record has visual evidence of many plays including noticeable surface marks and light scratches. There should be no major deterioration of sound quality however. The cover can have light/moderate wear but no major defects.

A full no quibble refund for the cost of the record will be offered if you are not satisfied for ANY reason.

I treat all vinyl with the greatest respect whether £5 or £50, so all records are sent out with plastic covers in professional mailers and two protective cardboard stiffeners. I always separate records from their covers and original inner sleeves for posting to prevent seam splits occurring during shipping.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to take out any insurance cover required. I would advise insurance to be taken out on any item sale greater than £30.00 as protection against loss or damage during shipping. Without this additional insurance the full value of items above £30.00 that are lost or damaged will NOT be able to be recovered.

Following the close of the auction I will send an invoice within twenty four hours. All winning bidders must make contact within three days of the end of the auction or I reserve the right to withdraw the item or select the second chance option and offer the item to another bidder.

Please do not bid if you have significant negative feedback unless checking first please.
