Cover: Original 1st pressing cover where the record is inserted inside the gatefold sleeve. 

 

Laminated (front) gatefold with laminated top & bottom flip-backs to the right hand side of the matt inside cover. 

 

Clear readable spine. No writings or doodles. Has a small nibble at the top of the spine - see photos. Also has some laminate lift on the front cover near the spine and some edge/corner wear. Rates as VG+.

 

Labels: Excellent. 1st pressing blue PYE labels. No stickers  or writings. Some spindle marks only.

Vinyl: Looks great for a 44 year old item with a nice sheen. Side 1 has a few light marks and looks VG+. Side 2 looks better at Near Excellent to Excellent.

  • Track 1 = VG(-) (crackle and 1 small skip)
  • Track 2 = VG(-) (crackle and 1 small skip)
  • Track 3 = Near Ex (minor crackle)
  • Track 4 = VG (some lightish crackle)
  • Track 5 = Ex (hardly any crackle)
  • Track 6 = VG(+) (minor crackle)
  • Track 7 = VG (minor crackle & couple of pops)

Side 2........

  • Track 1 = Near Ex to Ex (hardly any crackle)

Gradings.......

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
