Description

For sale is a really nice copy of Kindertotenlieder by Mahler, featuring Kirsten Flagstad and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Adrian Boult, London OS-25039.The vinyl couldn't play any nicer, there are only very minute imperfections when held at an angle in bright light, and I hear no noise at all.The cover is really quite nice overall, but there is about an inch of split on the spine at the very bottom, a little wear along the open edge, and the initials "MP" written in small letters on the back.  The mian picture is still very nice, the spines strong other than the one issue.There is also an insert included that has the words to two of the songs in German and English.  It is in good shape other than a crease in the upper left corner and a little discoloration along the right side.Also includes a copy of Grieg Recital, London LL-1547.  The jacket is a strong VG+ with just a bit of corner wear and stress at the open end, clean and shiny on all main sections.  The vinyl isn't as nice, more of a VG visually, but no skips and mostly just a little light static in a few places with a couple of ticks, still very listenable.  Finally includes Purcell's Dido and Aeneas RCA LM-2019 deep groove label.  The vinyl is on the nicer side of VG+, the jacket has some issues as shown and a partial split on the top seam.
