PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


OFF-THE-CHARTS RARE Santa Maria MISPRESSING on Casablanca's "smoking man" label with gatefold cover, original glossy full color 8-page booklet insert, original printed inner sleeves, TWO side 3 labels and NO side 4 label!!!  One side 3 label has small initials under the center hole and one does not (see photos 3 and 4) with the initialed label the true side 4, identifiable by the dead wax etching!!!  LP side 2 is a nice VG with a few light scuffs, side 4 is VG/VG+ with even fewer light scuffs, side 3 is VG+ with even fewer light scuffs and side 1 is easily VG+, close to VG++, with still fewer light scuffs.  Cover is VG with some ring.  I have had well over 30 copies of this LP pass through my hands in my 44 years of collecting and selling and I have never seen a pressing plant error like this in my life.  I have scoured the internet for evidence of another example like this one and come up empty every time.  Quite possibly the only one in existence.  INSANELY rare so don't sleep KISS collectors.  If you've never seen it before you won't see it again.

GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
