Description

KISS Alive II El Salvador Bongo Records Rock Steady Original LP Rare VG/VG

Welcome to Hail the Grails Records! I’m Brian, and thank you for stopping by. Whether you found me on eBay, Discogs, Mercari, or the Hail the Grails Records Facebook group, you’re buying from the same trusted seller with a passion for rare collectibles, accurate grading, secure packing, and honest descriptions.

Offered here is an original KISS Alive II LP from El Salvador on the Rock Steady label, manufactured by Bongo Records. These Central American pressings were produced in extremely limited numbers and are among the hardest international KISS releases to locate. Copies surface only occasionally, making this a true worldwide collector’s piece.

Condition:

Cover: VG

* Original gatefold.

* Moderate edge and spine wear from age.

* General shelf and ring wear.

* Presents very well for this extremely scarce pressing.

Vinyl: VG

* Original El Salvador pressing.

* Plays through, however one song has skips during playback.

* The remaining songs play as expected for a vintage Central American pressing.

* Playback issue has been fully reflected in the grading and price.

Please note that many original Latin American pressings were manufactured with lower production standards than U.S., Japanese, or European releases. Because of their rarity, collectors often value these records for their scarcity and historical significance as much as their playback quality.

Very few authentic El Salvador KISS pressings come to market, making this an excellent opportunity to add one of the toughest country variations to a worldwide KISS collection.

Your record will be shipped in a new inner sleeve, protective 3 mil outer sleeve, and securely packed in a Whiplash-style record mailer.

Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. Feel free to message me with any questions.

Thank you for visiting Hail the Grails Records!
