Description
I collect way more albums than I sell, so I understand the importance of not only the condition but the sound quality of the pressing. I will never sell a LP that has more than a couple of pops or clicks or if I think the sound quality of the album is not up to par, which is not a rare occurrence. I sound grade all the records I sell 100% and try my best to list any and all sound issues. I do not collect any albums that has issues that would interrupt my enjoyment of a song and I sure wouldn't sell one. With that said I am not picky on album covers/sleeves but can respect those who are, so even though I mention the over all condition of the cover PLEASE inspect pictures carefully before bidding. Inner Sleeve: VG
- Both are split along seams
Record/LP:
- LP 1 is a very strong VG++ Only showing a few hairlines
- LP 2 is NM I could only find one small hairline
- Both spindles show almost no wear
- Both LPs lay nice and flat
- Both are bright and glossy
Sound Grade
I listen to the LPs I sell 100% through with headphones; because of the amount of use on my turntable, my cartridge is set to a light weight to help conserve needle life. I also just light clean LPs that I am going to sell, so with that said with deep clean and proper weight settings your results should be even better.
They both play as good as they look. I could not pick-up any thing except the faintest surface noise in the beginning of the LP. There are no issues with pops, clicks or skips of any kind. Sound quality is superb for a live recording, doesn't have that muted feel. Sterling got it right on this one.
