KISS 'Destroyer' (Alternate Artwork) PICTURE DISC 12" LP Demos With BONUS CD

A few years ago, in 2012, the great American rock band Kiss re-released their 70's smash hit album 'Destroyer'. They titled the reissue 'Destroyer: Resurrected', and it was produced by mega producer Bob Ezrin. Ezrin has, of course, produced some of the biggest names in rock; such as Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Alice Copper, Lou Reed, Peter Gabriel, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and many more!

"On August 21, Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) released KISS's 1976 multi-platinum, landmark album "Destroyer: Resurrected", newly remixed from the original master tapes by the album's original producer, Bob Ezrin. Ezrin pulled the tapes from the vaults and painstakingly remixed the entire album, enhancing the sound and bringing out its rich texture and vibrancy, while keeping the integrity of the original recording intact. "Destroyer: Resurrected" will also include rare and unreleased recordings rediscovered during the remixing process, plus the originally intended cover artwork."

In today's head banging good deal, you'll get the rare and scarce picture disc LP of that alternate artwork cover, and the music is unreleased tracks and demos! The artwork was what was INTENDED to be the cover of the album, but the label had them tone it down. On this one, the members look more muscular, and the background has more fire and destruction. Not a drastic difference, but definitely a difference. The demos never did make onto the 'Resurrected' CD. But wait, those demos and unreleased tracks are on the picture disc!

And you KNOW there's more! Lol I'll throw in a copy of that new version of the vintage hard rock and heavy metal classic, remixed by original producer Bob Ezrin, on CD! That's right, you get BOTH items in this incredible deal! The CD still looks new, and the disc is all shiny and clean. It is made to look like an album, and is black. The picture disc is also all shiny and clean, and looks new. I have not played it, as I never play picture discs or colored vinyl. To me, those items are collectibles, and they never get spun. Just admired! The B side has the song titles and credits. The only flaw that I can find is a couple of very small spots that are white. Made in the manufacturing, probably. (See pics.) Nothing a Magic Marker can't fix!

These Kiss 'Destoyer' alternate artwork picture discs pop up every now and then here on Ebay, and most of the time, they're really pricey.
