I was fortunate enough to recently receive hundreds of unsold KISS albums in boxes that had sat in Polygram Records' warehouse and i will be listing them a few at a time. most of these LPs are beautiful...some are error copies. some are in amazing shape, and some are in good shape. i will indicate the condition of each LP. one of the great things about these LPs is that a lot of them never made it into the stores, so theres no price tags or shelf wear. when it comes to American KISS releases and pressings, i am an expert so feel free to ask anything. bidders with less than 20 feedback please contact me first, otherwise your bids will be cancelled because of previous bad experiences.
KISS "Double Platinum" NBLP 7100 SEALED! this compilation LP was rush job release in april '78 designed to butter up retail chains with a 2 disc set specially priced allowing Casablanca to have an easier time shipping large quantities of the forthcoming solo albums. the "disco" version of "Strutter" was released as a single in a very different mix than its version on the LP and was far from a hit. the record sat on shelves and wound up in discount bins shortly after. this is a nice copy albeit the cut corner.
