Extremely rare Belgian only KISS single picture sleeve from 1979 in excellent condition!
I WAS MADE FOR LOVIN' YOU / Hard Times
Ronnex Brussels Import/Casablanca NB-983 (Belgium/USA, 1979)
Enclosed US vinyl in a domestically produced picture sleeve.
A rare variation picture sleeve with a great Ace Frehley live photo on the cover (same design on both sides), only 170 copies were made with this sleeve by Ronnex!!
Ronnex was a record company that started in the business by importing US vinyl right after World War II. Next step was producing and releasing Belgian (Flemish), Dutch and South-African artists (they all share more or less the same language: Dutch/Flemish/Afrikaans). While this became Ronnex’ main business, as a clever business man Ronnex kept importing cheap US overstock singles of songs that became a hit record over here. Since US singles usually came without a picture sleeve, and European record buyers were used to buy singles with a picture sleeve, Ronnex had unique picture sleeves printed in tiny numbers. Hence the fact why this sleeve is so different and so rare, while it was the biggest number one hit over here back in 1979.
Ronnex (RIP) revealed during a 1980s interview that the whished he had one copy of every single he had "released" this way, as these of The Beatles f.i. are now being offered as "Turkish" and make a small fortune each of them, while they are Belgian/USA and state this on most of his releases! As you can see it on the photo here, it states in the left bottom corner "USA Import – RONNEX – BRUSSELS". Get yourself a real piece of KISStory!

Postage: all items will be send by either Registered Airmail or EMS, no exception unless agreed upon before the ending of this auction! Buyer pays exact shipping costs (check out http://www.post.be/site/nl/languageSelection.html for postage info/quotes or just ask) and packaging materials. Although items will be very well packaged, I am not responsable for lost or damaged packages.
Shipping: I ship worldwide. I ship packages normally at least once a week on Saturday. Records will be send in a sturdy record mailer, magazine will be send backed by cardboard in a protective envelope.
Insurance: is possible but costs extra (please inform). If you want insurance, please mention this. I combine shipping when possible.
Payment: all European Union countries must pay by bank transfer (Iban and Bic code for the transfer will be provided). Non-European countries can use Paypal. No other methods of payment are accepted unless agreed upon BEFORE the ending of this auction. Payment must be received within 7 days.
Other: if this auction does not run a normal course because of external reason(s) – power failure, eBay server problems,.. – then this auction will be considered void.
