Up for auction are 3 records from Kiss! This lot features 2 copies of Love Gun as well as 1 of Music from The Elder. There are 2 copies of Love Gun because I purchase one brand new and it's still in that condition. However, one of the copies I had to pick up at a used record store and did so because the label on the record actually featured a picture of the band on such. This album isn't in the NEW condition that the other one is but has a great sticker on it!
Love Gun is the sixth studio album by American hard rock band Kiss, released in 1977. It is notable for being their first album to feature a lead vocal performance from Ace Frehley; this marks the first Kiss album to feature lead vocal performances from all four band members. It was also the last studio album to feature the entire original Kiss lineup on every track, as Peter Criss was replaced by session drummer Anton Fig for most of 1979's Dynasty.[9]
Music from "The Elder" is the ninth studio album released by the American rock band Kiss.
A substantial departure from their previous output with its epic concept and orchestral elements, album sales were so poor that Kiss did not embark on a supporting tour for the first time in its eight-year history, opting instead to make a handful of promotional appearances.[1] Music from "The Elder" was the last Kiss album on which Ace Frehley appeared until the 1996 Reunion Tour. Frehley, disgruntled with the band's creative direction and production of Bob Ezrin, stopped actively participating in the Kiss operation by early 1982, and officially quit the group by November that year.
