Description
Kiss--Kiss Alive II--Casablanca NBLP 7076-2. Ultra-rare 1977 first pressing with original back cover listing three tracks that did not appear on the records or labels. The three cuts that were removed in order to improve the sound quality of the vinyl were: "Take Me", "Hooligan", and "Do You Love Me". Casablanca realized the mistake very quickly and printed correct covers without the withdrawn songs. Very few of the uncorrected covers made their way out to the buying public. This is the complete first pressing with the original liner sleeves and three inserts (booklet, merchandise order form, and tattoo sheet). The cover grades VG overall. There is a little wear to the two spine corners and the bottom seam, but the spine and seams are tight and there is no splitting. All print on the spine is clearly legible. The covers present well, but the back cover has scrapes (scratch marks) on the left side of Gene Simmons photo, primarily in his hair. There is also a 3/8" crimp to the back cover opening, between the photos of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. Scans #3 and #4 show better details. The vinyl and labels are very clean, a solid Mint -. The liner sleeves have no splits or tears. The booklet and tattoo sheet are in excellent condition. The merchandise order form has some creases from being stuck too far into the gatefold, but is complete with no writing. Excellent and obscure Kiss collectible!
